Gurr Howard PhD Dr. Howard Gurr has earned two Masters degrees in psychology and a Ph.D. in Professional Psychology with a dual specialization in Clinical and School Psychology. He is both a certified school psychologist and a licensed psychologist in New York State. Dr. Gurr is also a Distance Credentialed Counselor (DCC) through the Center for Credentialing and Education(CCE). For over 30 years, Dr. Howard Gurr has been affiliated with hospitals, clinics, and school districts on Long Island. Dr. Howard Gurr is a member of many professional groups. Dr. Howard Gurr has been a field supervisor for graduate students from local colleges and universities. He has written articles, been quoted in newspapers, heard on the radio and seen on television on a wide variety of psychologically related topics.
