Upon Retiring from the US Navy in 1974, Ron Axelrod founded the Maverick Company with the concept of catering to new and small investors, giving them the opportunity to partake in an investment medium, thought by many to be available only to the very wealthy. Since then, the Mavco has brokered land deals for thousands of buyers and sellers throughout the world.
