HIPPA & State Law Violations. Poor customer service. Poor supervision. Not patient centric. I reported two complaints (1/11/23 & 1/12/23), via the corporate customer service line, to the customer service representatives and both times I was told I would receive a call from the regional manager within 48-hours. It has been 4-days and I am still waiting for that call. The frontline staff at this Visionworks store lack knowledge regarding Visionworks rules and policies; ignorant of federal and state laws pertaining to patient rights to privacy; lack customer service skills and patient care knowledge. The supervisor has not addressed any of my concerns or complaints. I will make another attempt to speak to someone in leadership at Visionworks before I report these violations of law to the appropriate government bodies and will consider taking legal action if necessary. Anyone receiving services at this location needs to know that HIPPA and state laws must be followed and sharing your personal information or doctor and patient protected information in the open for the public to overhear or view is illegal without informed and signed consent. This did not happen once but several times at this location. I will call Visionworks corporate customer service line one more time on 1/14/23.
