I love this store. The shop owner is so cool. He is an excellent conversationalist and I find myself browsing GAEA not just for the lovely gifts they have to offer, but often for the stimulating conversation. I have read some of the unfortunate reviews of GAEA and I simply disagree. I was there one day when a mother of two young children came in and despite the numerous signs asking parents to demonstrate the wind chimes "for their kids" this mom allowed her kids to bang and clash on chimes, many with hefty price tags, one of which over $1600.00. I saw the shop keeper ask the woman to take her kids out of the store since she would not control them. I can understand why someone might not appreciate it, but look at it from the owner's point of view. She couldn't afford them if one of her kids did break or damage the chimes. Yes, he is from New York and has a big voice, but he's not a mean person. I will shop at GAEA and enjoy every moment of it!
