A licensed alchol and drug counselor. Registered nurse. PHD in counseling psychology. Adolescents welcomed. I offer hope, comfort, and support. My specialty is addictions and I love to work with families and adolescents. I help my clients define boundaries and goals, repair relationships, and reduce stress. I believe that we can overcome our personal demons and live the lives we were meant to live. I help my clients explore and repair their thinking, and help them change their actions and reactions. My method is eclectic, drawing from many disciplines in order to meet each person's needs. When my children were 16, 18, and 24, we entered family therapy. We healed real and imaginary wounds and we are very close today. It was one of the best things I ever did. I am a Registered Psychiatric Nurse, a MICA Specialist, and have worked with the legal system.
