While ripping up the carpet at our house we had just purchased I found what I knew to be called sugar ants. We were replacing all of the flooring throughout the house and new carpet was being installed the following Monday throughout the second floor. We decided to contact an exterminator to address the ants hoping someone would be able to treat the house prior to the carpet install. I googled Albany, Oregon Exterminators and three exterminators came up on my search one of them being Albany Pest Control. Mr. Warren answered the phone and stated he was available to inspect the house that day and would contact me with his findings. Later that afternoon Mr. Warren called to explain what he found. He stated my house was infested with odorous ants, carpenter ants, carpet beetles, rats, and mice along with termites. Yes, I had a home inspection as part of my purchase and no, none of this was found. After lengthy explanations of the evidence he found indicating my numerous infestations he talked me into paying him to treat everything but the termites right then. He eventually sent pictures that didn't support his infestation reports. Inspecting the house ourselves we suspected he had not been truthful. I decided to have repeat inspections from other venders. Three additional inspections all came back stating I only had odorous ants (despite Mr. Warren's treatment) and there was no evidence of past or present infestations.
