Warning to Homeowners: Unscrupulous Contractor (Doug Von Eschen) aka Energy Performance Remodelers Talks a great game and under delivers on EVERY aspect of the job. He only contacted us when he has money he thinks he can collect. DO NOT PAY until the job is complete AND you are happy with the work. Is owes us money for work he didn't do. Out about $6,000 and left with a house that the paint is peeling because he painted it in 25 degree weather. Do yourself a favor and get a different contractor. Never would I consider hire Doug Von Eschen, and Energy Performance Remodelers. He is, without a doubt, a truly unscrupulous contractor according to the way he has treated and cheated us.
