Wow!! Where to even begin. The unit that came has a tag from Chickasha. That's odd since his quote was completely out of the realm of reasonable. I guess you did a transfer somehow but nevertheless, I'm happy with the machine. I did a lot of research and there were a few things that I liked and disliked about the 40 horse John Deere, New Holland, Mahindra and Kubota. I liked the Yanmar engine in the Deere but I didn't like that they are plastic and I didn't like the hydrostatic drive. The Yanmar is a proven engine as I've had a machine with a Yanmar before and it served me well. The 4044 also doesn't have a quick disconnect to use other skid steer implements. It was a good looking machine and user friendly though. Mixed reviews & it was priced comparable but the salesman was kind of a jerk. The Massey on the other hand, had the shuttle that I wanted, made of metal like I wanted, Mitsubishi motor (tested and proven to be reliable), looked to be a beefy heavy (weight wise) tractor, had the front end disconnect for other implements, it's been an American company for many years, the loader control is user friendly on the console, at your dealership it was fair & equally priced, and I didn't find hardly any bad reviews. I'm disappointed that the distributor that is closest to me quoted me such an unreasonable price to start with, but I'm glad I found Big Red in Granbury. Overall, I feel like I have made a great decision.
