Landscape Architecture and Land Planning, Development and Permitting We specialize in environmentally and socially appropriate master planning, site design, urban design, permitting, and land use consulting throughout Maine. Context By Design brings visions to reality; be it a new building, renovation or addition, or rehabilitation of your existing site, CBD can create the environment of your dreams. It is our belief that the most successful site designs are those that are in context with their environment. The more a building fits into its surroundings, the more comfortable people are with the building. To achieve this success we take a comprehensive approach to site design including: building location/orientation, site grading and drainage, pedestrian/vehicular circulation, public and private spaces around the building and hardscape/softscape landscape elements. Fully licensed and insured, we have been designing municipal, commercial and residential site plans and landscapes since 1996. Contact us today to discuss how you can have the home or business of your dreams.
