Located in Downtown Manhattan since 2009 Tribeca Therapy has provided creative, non-diagnostic therapy for creative New Yorkers. We're not your grandfather's therapist. We sometimes joke that we offer therapy for people who don't like therapy. What we really mean is that our active, roll-up-our-sleeves team of therapists defies the conventional picture of a passive therapist who focuses more on listening than solutions. We resist relating to you like you're broken, and have developed a practice that relies on creativity rather than labels and pathology. While we work with many professionals, especially those in the creative and finance industries, our practice is incredibly diverse. As progressive therapists we believe that issues of race, class, ethnicity, gender and sexual orientation are not merely incidental to the mental health of our clients and pride ourselves on being fluent in engaging issues of diversity. Couples therapy is one of our specialties. We help couples with communication, fighting, financial challenges and infidelity and take pride in working with diverse couples as well as those with unconventional relationships.
