I am glad I finally get to tell my story about Bear Valley Spas. In late 2010, I have my spa repaired by Bear Valley Spa. The person I delt with was Jay. He provided a quote to replace the mother board in my spa. Make a long story short, he quoted me one price and billed my credit cards a much higher price. I never knew until I received my next credit card statement. I called Jay (Bear Valley Spa Owner) and asked why I was billed a larger amount than what was quoted. He replied "well the job took a little longer than I expected". I told him that I understood, but he should have called me with the specifics before charging my credit card a different amount than what was agreed upon. I tried to negotiate with Jay and meet him half way on the variance. Jay would not budge and threatened to take me to small claims court. He wrote letter after letter to my credit card company explaining that I owed him more money. Make a long story short, my credit card company got tired of listening to him so they paid the additional amount. My recommendation, go somewhere else to buy or have your existing spa repaired. Jay is a real piece of work that does not have ethics or does business in a professional manner. BEWARE - Stay away from BEAR VALLEY SPAS and do not give him your credit card number.... Take a moment and look at the other postings where the feedback is also not positive... I had to learn the hard way, learn from my mistakes!!!! SJ
