In 2004, general contractor and owner, Sebastian Micle, came to the United States from Romania where he studied engineering and construction. He began working in the south (Florida, Atlanta, Georgia, and Tennessee) providing framing for restaurant chains and quickly recognized the need for high quality carpenters and general contractors. In 2006, he moved to the Chicago area and founded New Explode Construction. Initially, he built his business by forging close relationships with signature contractors and renovation experts with a focus on the core services of commercial office remodeling, restaurant refurbishing, and residential projects. New Explode quickly gained a reputation for its high-quality woodwork, fine carpentry, beautiful decks, and additions. Since then, the business has grown rapidly through referrals and endorsements by its satisfied clients.
