We have used VPC for several remodeling and repair projects over the last 15 months at a vacation cabin that we purchased. They added a lot of beautiful wood trim to a great room (ceiling, wainscoting, flooring), replaced sliding glass doors, gutted the old kitchen and put in a new one, and handled some large, unexpected structural problems for us with expertise. There have been lots of smaller jobs involved, too, involving painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, etc. We have been extremely pleased with all aspects of this work, and the wonderful project manager, Dave S., has been very courteous, professional and helpful. The quality and craftsmanship of the work is top-notch. We look forward to using VPC again for further remodeling projects!

My fiancé and I recently completed a major design and renovation project to our 2,800 square foot ‘forever home’ using VPC Builders, and we are extremely satisfied with the results. We thought we had a pretty good plan on what we wanted to achieve when we started the project, but had no idea how much it would evolve and how much better it would turn out, all due to the expertise and efforts of the team at VPC Builders. Throughout the construction phase of our renovation, we worked with Matt Vincent, the company president, Brent Lyons and Cliff Baldwin. All are experienced long-time contractors with great communication skills, who worked with us from start to finish. We met with Brent, Cliff, and Matt at our house every week, to review progress and discuss the next week’s activities. Even more importantly, we were able to continually discuss and incorporate ideas that my fiancé and I would think of along the way to improve our project. With the project completed, we would say that not only are we over-the-top satisfied with our full house renovation, we also feel that we have become friends with the folks at VPC. Their attention to detail is unbelievable, communication relentless, and it shows in the final product. We have already talked with Matt and crew about a few other projects for the exterior of our home, and would highly recommend anyone to consider VPC Builders for their renovation work, custom home builds, or any related project.

During the spring of 2014, VPC Builders took on the large task of remodeling the space for the new Mellow Mushroom in Blowing Rock, NC. The craftsmanship that this team put into our new space is something that people notice as soon as they walk in the building. Matt Vincent and his crew are exceptional. From quoting and consultation through execution, our project was completed seamlessly. We had some special challenges and time constraints and VPC delivered. They will be our contractor of choice for all future projects.

We did extensive remodeling in our rug store due to water and termite damage. VPC repaired or replaced numerous things, including the floor joists, hardwood flooring, sheet rock, lighting, structural and HVAC work. It was a major remodeling job with impossible to foresee "surprises", but they managed to complete the job under budget and only a few days past schedule. A Great company from top to bottom. We highly recommend them.

I have an old colonial home that is slowly being brought back to all its glory. VPC has done nearly all of the work over the years. I go back to them every time because the people are great to work with and the quality of their work is the best. The end result is always better than I expected.
