BUYER BEWARE. Genuinely awful experience. I went there once for an alteration, and the service was OK, but a little pricy. I went there a second time, just to get a pair of pants, hemmed. They took about five minutes of their time, and checked out the pants. They then quoted me a price of $40, which seems very high for pants to be hemmed. I said "I'm gonna think on it a little bit" before before trying to head out. The man behind the counter, then went absolutely ballistic his face got all red and he got really mad at me because I wasn't sure whether or not I wanted to pay $40 for a pair of pants to be hemmed. Grabbed my pants, and wouldn't give them back to me until I paid him $20. At no point did they say that there would be a fee just for a consultation. I insisted that the pants were my property, and that I wanted them back. He wouldn't give them back. I then started calling the police because he was starting to get really threatening, and he tried yelling me out of the shop. I finally agreed to pay the $20 as a hostage price of my pants and the man followed me all the way to the parking lot screaming. The guy behind the counter is border-line deranged and I was afraid of my safety. In our conversation he admitted that multiple other customers had called the cops before, probably due to behavior like this. And all this was because I said "I'll think about it" about a pants-hemming job... I have never posted a negative review for a business before, but this experience was so clownishly awful that I've decided to let customers what they might be subjected to if they do business here and decide not to suffer their inflated prices. I'm considering calling the police again in an attempt to get my extorted money back, just out of the principle of the matter.
