This Church began long before 2010. I was saved and baptized in this church in 1972 I was a member of this Church when our congregation voted to change the name to Young Street Baptist Church. Previously it was a Missionary Baptist Church. Pastors in the past has been Rev. Clinton Carver, Rev. Morris Bearden and Rev, Otis Pendley. This Church was the cornerstone foundation for my family many of my family members have been saved and baptized at this church. My Father, Mother and Sister funeral was held at this church. I am not sure where you came up with the year 2010 but this Church I hold dear to my heart goes much further back than that.
