When I first met Mike Dowell of Buck Wild Taxidermy I thought he was a nice guy, I met him through a mutual friend. The first time I did business with him I gave him sevral mounts at the same time and though he did get them done it took nearly two years to get them all back, and during the process he was very hard to get ahold of it seemed like he was dodging me. He also had moved to a new address which I was unable to attain while trying to get an update on the progress of the mounts. I later found out that he was caught cheating on his girlfriend of many years while he was doing my mounts and she kicked out of the house which was also his shop. after learning this I actually felt bad for him and figured this was the reason why everything was so complicated while waiting for my mounts. I decided to give him another try with several more mounts I also gave him a substantial amout of money upfront. Fast forward almost three years later he rarely answers my calls and if by luck he does return a call he just lies to me and tells me they will be done in a couple more weeks, I have heard that statement from him about 3 different time throughout the last three years. He is a CROOK DO NOT TAKE YOUR MOUNTS TO HIM!!!!! He takes your animals along with your down payment and books out of state hunts with the money you give him leaving him with no money to buy your form or have the fur tanned. He has done this to say many people at this point he is trying to rob "peter" to pay Paul"
