Timberline Outdoor Services was founded by John Crider. TimberLine Services is essentially a continuation of the "summer mowing" John Crider and his step-brother Josh Harmon started in High School. After a couple of summers working together Josh decided to let John take the reigns. John continued to manage the company till later bringing on a partner, and a name change. After two years of working with the partner John decided to sell out and move on. After a short sabbatical from landscaping and lawn care and a failure to pay from the previous owner, John decided to go right back into the business. John self taught himself landscaping, lawn, and tree care techniques; through a lot of hands on experience, trade magazines, books and videos. John still continues this today to keep up
