I've taken many bus trips and this was the WORST EVER. Larry Becton took a handful of pills at 6am before the trip. He was then shaking and talking to himself for the first 3 hours. We were scared for our life. He drove more than 12 hours (illegal.) He then stopped half way to Atlanta and held us all hostage. Larry claimed he was only paid to take us to Atlanta and wanted to be paid for the return trip up front. He said he would not move until he received the return trip payment. We waited 1.5 hours while he extorted money from our contract company. When back on the road the bus kept jerking like the transmission was about to fall out. The majority of the time, if Larry wasn't talking to himself, he was talking on his cell phone and writing on papers that were spread out over the steering wheel. He was also texting and weaving. It was scary. I had to work his GPS because he could not read. If you read his own descriptions, you can tell he is barely literate. Once we were back on the road, he started calling all of his friends and bragging how he had planned to stopped and hold us hostage (his words) until he got paid for the whole trip (which was not the original contract.) Larry originally worked for Maryland DOT - but was fired he said because of "a dispute with his boss."
