I have been a licensed cosmetologist, a marketer for several companies, a special education teacher, and I am now a Business Developer and Referral Agent for a Consumer Direct Marketing company. As a teacher I loved teaching children, but because of education budgets being cut I had no job this year. My position was eliminated. Also, the old teaching moments were lost and the curriculum had to be followed to the letter. All because of the state standardized testing which had to show high scores for the school district to pass the state requirements. I was approached by a woman who showed me how to network market for the company I am currently with.
