Our Wives are In Charge (OWAIC) and Paul Marcel - Rene are the most incompetent and terrible property managers I have ever come across. The laundry list of complaints is long, so I won't go on and on, but the icing on the cake is theft/withholding of my money! Paul has decided (on occasion) to hold my monthly rent checks that are due to me for some reason. After a couple of these occurrences, I decided to cancel my agreement with OWAIC. Once that happened, Paul found a number of ways to dock my (already late) check. He withdrew an extra $600 for a "plumbing estimate"which is still TBD. Funny, I distinctly remember in our contract that he was supposed to notify me of anything in excess of $200/month in repairs. Additionally, Paul/OWAIC is holding the $2500 in deposits that my tenant gave to him. He won't transfer them to me - as I am now the new property manager for my property. Needless to say, I'™ve called local authorities and legal counsel. Stay away people! I wouldn't trust this man to sweep my driveway - let alone manage my home. I am so thankful for excellent service and integrity of all the staff at Our Wives Are In Charge. Without their dedication to providing excellence in both the repairs and property management of my several rental properties after my husband died, I would have lost everything. They truly are the Premier Company in Ohio.

BUYER BEWARE- Do not do business with OWAIC! Paul is the most incompetent person we have ever had the unfortunate pleasure of doing business with. He was a terrible property manager, consistently late in mailing our rental payments from our renters. He was very difficult to get in touch with, and our renters had the same problems with him not returning their calls. Now that we have fired him, he is withholding our deposits and other personal property. He is also attempting to slander us because we are leaving negative, but 100% factual, reviews. Do yourself a favor and hire ANYONE else but Paul!
