Michael Hoard, Principal and Owner of The Hoard Law Group, Ltd., was raised in a rough neighborhood on the Southside of Chicago, but persevered and became a first generation college graduate. After completion of law school, Michael was appointed as an Assistant Illinois Attorney General, where he argued criminal appeals in the Illinois Appellate Courts, Illinois Supreme Court, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. After working as a prosecutor, Michael went into private practice and worked in a small law firm for a number of years where he tried cases ranging from murder to DUI's. Michael worked as trust counsel at a large bank before venturing out to start The Hoard Law Group, Ltd. Michael also taught Business Law, Court Systems, and Criminal Justice.
