Were a state licensed certified general contractor, using innovative construction techniques, green building practices, and top notch customer serivce Blake Building founder Peter Bennett always knew he wanted to turn his passion for home renovation and architecture into more than just a hobby. In 1993, he took his experience as a contractor and architect and co-founded Samter Homes in Tampa, Florida. For nearly 20 years, Samter has successfully built hundreds of townhomes and multi-family units throughout Tampa Bay, while also building a solid reputation of quality and integrity. In 2009, Bennett saw an increase in residential renovations and new home building and created Blake Building, a new division of Samter geared to the changing home marketplace. With a goal to be Tampa's premier home renovation contractor, Blake Building focuses on home renovation, restoration and new home construction.
