I had this company install my kitchen with crown molding. It was very professinally done and Mr. Cannoy was pleasent to have in my home. I look forward to having him do other work in my house.

We hired Mark Cannoy (owner of Touch of the Carpenter, LLC) based on a recommendation and his professed cabinetry knowledge & carpentry skills. It took over 8 weeks to get our kitchen cabinets in and installed. Once installed he requested the balance due to be paid before the counter tops and appliances were installed. This was a mistake on my behalf, but I placed my trust in Mark since he assured me that he would be back to make final adjustment once the counter tops were installed. When the quartz counter tops arrived the cabinets were found not to be leveled, therefore having to be shimmed, leaving as much as a 1" gap underneath the counter in several areas of the oversize kitchen island. In addition, Mark's measurements were off by several inches for the refrigerator opening, causing the entire bank of cabinets to have to be move in order to make the opening larger for the refrigerator to fit in. Moving the base cabinets resulted in the counter top having to be re-measured, re-fabricated and re-installed by the manufacturer, never mind the numerous drilling holes he made in my brand new cabinets. Mark is a cordial and likable man, but has a passive-aggressive personality that makes him unreasonable, and difficult to work with, when faced with challenges.He is not one willing to admit to his mistakes and instead makes excuses and blames others for his wrongdoing. Just because one claims to have been in the industry for over 20+ year does not mean they do quality work.
