Cafe 157 is an American Bistro. Located in downtown Matthews, we offer an extensive martini list and wonderful outdoor seating. Why "Cafe 157" you ask? Well, since we are located at 157 North Trade Street, we wanted a name that captured the feeling of a neighborhood cafe and we think that Cafe 157 does just that! Cafe 157 really is a neighborhood cafe. There's this third-place phenomenon, where you have home, you have work and you have this place, where people want to hang out. At Cafe 157, we want you to feel comfortable and welcomed, and make this place your third place. We pride ourselves on serving outstanding food coupled with casual, friendly service which is sure to delight you on your first visit or your 50th visit.
