A Thing for Dogs is about TRANSLATING dog into something that makes sense and makes relationships. I am the BARK TRANSLATOR. TRANSLATORS know both languages. They are able to listen to the two languages, cultures and determine what the two speakers are saying, what they mean and what they are trying to convey. Then they bring the two speakers together and give them a common interface to communicate CULTURE, meaning and feeling. Both speakers are committed to the process, needing to find a COMMON language but desiring the help of the TRANSLATOR to find culture and understanding. Translators BRIDGE the gap between cultures and they can take their knowledge of one CULTURE and MESH it with the knowledge that they have of the second and bring them together for the understanding of all involved.
