Have completely given up on PPE or on having them be my "go to" people for my home repairs. Had my 1971 AC unit blow out the transformer on a house I resently bought. Saw the PPE stickers placed on the AC unit so assumed that they would have the knowledge that I needed to repair the problem. I called them up to inquire about the part that was needed. Talked to a gentelman named Lance on Wednesday evening and told him my situation. I was told that he wasn't able to help me out at that time due to the late hour and the need to talk to one of his technicians but that he would call me the following day with the information I needed. He asked if I wanted to install it myself or have one of his tech's do it. I told him I desired a tech to install and check the unit. I told him the mod & ser # and had good feelings of being able to have my AC problem resolved. At the end of following day I called PPE since I never received my phone call. The woman who answered the phone had no knowledge of what I was calling about so I had to explain the situation to her again with her assurance that Lance would call me Friday. Friday came and I received a call from the woman explaining that Lance had been busy but would call me later that day. It is now Saturday and I am back to trying to resolve the problem myself before my pregnant wife has a miscarrage from the heat. THANK YOU FOR NOTHING PPE. The statement about customer satisfaction is nothing more than a sales ploy. USE SOMEONE ELSE!!!!
