I found Lone Star Contracting on another website, & called them for an estimate to paint a couple of walls , and some cabinets. I had other projects I was looking to do at the time, and did not know that Lone Star did remodeling as well. When the owner came out to take a look at my paint job, I mentioned my master bathroom plans. He asked if I would like a quote for that too! I don't think he knew what he was getting himself into! I have been gathering ideas, pictures, samples etc. for some time, trying to make my mind up. I had a few other contractors come out a couple weeks back, & they really kind of made me feel stupid for "wasting their time" I just needed someone like Eric that could visualize my scattered ideas, and turn it into my dream! This guy was so patient, and understanding, he literally shocked me. I had never had such a pleasant experience with a contractor. He was very detailed and descriptive, always making sure I understood the processes, and where every penny was going to be applied. Other contractors have given me very general estimates, in the form of "remodel bathroom=$$$$$" I was starting to think that was normal. Well if it is, Lone Star is not. Eric and his team were always on time, and very clean. They took extra time each day to cover floors, and any of my personal items. I never had to ask, it was just part of their routine. I highly recommend Lone Star Contracting. I will definitely be calling them for all of my future jobs. Thanks again guy's!

Lone Star Contracting Remodeled my Kitchen and master bathroom. I was absolutely amazed at the efficiency, and quality of their work. The owner Eric kept me very informed throughout he process, and was just an all around pleasure to work with. I would recommend Lone Star Contracting for all of your home improvement needs.

Do not let Eric Schlosser of Lone Star…
Do not let Eric Schlosser of Lone Star Contracting in your driveway! He is suing me for refusing to pay him after I found out he has pocketed over $4000 of an insurance claim I had to make because I had water leaking throughout my house! I had a leak because my showers were built with sheetrock instead of the kind of material that would be waterproof. He just could not wait to get started. Once I had him out here to see what needed to be fixed, he called me every day to see if I had gotten the check from my insurance. Once I finally got it and signed the contract for him to do the job and had signed ($3000) the check over to him. I did not see him for a month! He then came back and opened my walls to expose all the mold and said he did not have enough money to do the job and left me with my walls open for another 3 weeks. I stayed sick the whole time. We had a scope of work that the insurance company had given with detail on how to do the job properly. They listed several things Eric said I did not need and he would take the monies they paid and use it for my so called “upgrades” I did not know I needed all of the specialized mold removing equipment and treatments, because I thought I was working with a professional. Well, the mold is back and with a vengeance! He forced me to pay him before he ever did any work and was able to work his bids around so that I did not understand (he took major advantage of me being a n
