Two weeks ago my 88 year old mother and I stopped at the Hess Station near the 3200 block to get gas because the price was lower than other gas stations we had passed. Upon leaving the station we saw this small store advertising asian products an his sign called our attention. We are soooo glad we decided to stop and check them out. The variety of products is great but we were most impressed to their customer service skills. The gentleman there went out of his way to make us feel confortalbe and show us his items. We loved their novelties because it reminded me of my late husband's travels to the Middle East. The prices are moderate to low, the store is small but well stocked and organized. Most important my mother and I were treated with respect and kindness. Sorry if I sound cursy but when you are a senior citizen you appreciate these qualities. Just wanted to say thank you and wish there were more stores/restaurants that would take just a little time to be efficient but most important kind and respectful.

This store is under new ownership and you can see it as soon as you walk in the door. The owner Stan, and his wife carry a wide variety of Asian foods , cookware, gifts and trinkets. The store is VERY clean and organized. Stan is the kind of guy you are happy to buy from. When I walked in he asked if he could help me find anything. I explained that I had a list of things I was looking for but I would poke around and try to find it all. He took the time to give me a tour of the store pointing out things which were similar to what I was looking for. This was all in a helpful way, not a car salesman manner. The variety of food is excellent and still growing. One thing I really like is that there are a choice of organic options for many of the foods. With so much Asian foods containing MSG and preservatives, it's good that this store takes the time to order some variety for different preferences. The produce is exotic and VERY fresh! I bought 3 new plants which I've never seen before. They looked as good as anything bought at the Publix produce across the street and very low prices. I made a dinner tonight for my wife and I from the food purchased today. It was incredible. Clean store, rock bottom prices, good products, and first class service. What more could someone ask for?
