We had a horrible experience with Joanna. While we were happy for the first month, things deteriorated quickly. She was charging us over $90 for four people. Not cheap. Initially, after the first month, her portion sizes shrank, we were all left hungry, and then, after a conversation, the portion sizes increased but the food quality was terrible. Several meals were inedible. We found her completely absorbed in her profit margins and callous about our experience. What is the service business if not focusing on pleasing your customers. We grew to dislike her and her food and everyone was complaining. After several strong notes to her in the third month, and while we were trying to find alternatives, she abruptly quit on us, I guess because we kept complaining about how unhappy we were, and left us having to find alternatives at the last minute. I did not pay a final $175 bill, because it cost us more than that in time wasted and the fact that I felt she had cost me time and money to replace her at the last minute, due to her unreliability. I just received a small claims notice from her for the $175 last night. I'll settle it, it's not worth my time. But I hope this note serves to let anyone considering her services, that we found her to be very unpleasant to deal with and most importantly, that her food quality and choices are terrible. For what it's worth, we signed on to blue apron, and have a lovely woman cooking the meals they send us. It costs significantly less than
