Have you ever given someone a chance to prove their knowledge, skills and ablities? Being an equal opportunity kinda person I had a simple drain pipe repair to be done and figured hey I'm gonna give it to a handy"woman" for once because I think they more then deserve these kind of opportunities. I found only two femail handy service listings on Craigslist and figured hey I'll give them both a call. Renee was the first to respond and available to do the job within the timeline I needed. Unfortunately though she supposedly made the repair under our crawlspace a few weeks later it turned out not to be so and fell apart. I had to hire an experienced/licensed plumber to correctly fix the "repair" Renee had made. The plumber brought up the "repair" pieces to show me. The incorrect adhesive was used on the ABS piping and that same glue was applied to a flexible rubber repair coupling (one never uses glue on a flexible repair coupling). As a former Construction Supervisor Inspector I have to agree with the plumber that the repair was totally unprofessional and out of code. I tried to contact Renee Ribiero and give her the opportunity to make things right, she never returned my calls, texts, FB messages or emails. I spoke with her once and explained the situation and asked her to make things right I, she is now avoiding all my efforts. I can NOT recommend this service to anyone.
