We make emergency food boxes available for over 300 families on a monthly basis. We are doing our part to ease the effects of hunger on families. Monthly food boxes are given free to families that qualify by being at or below the Federal poverty level. While we are not known as a homeless area, we are helping families that are suffering home-loss and job-loss challenges. We also make perishable food such as bread, dairy and deli available everyday we are open. Recently, we started a clothing exchange bin that fills up and empty's on a daily basis. We also offer services to help with rental, utilities and other assistance. Extended Hands is totally dependent on the good will of those who choose to help us financially, donate food and volunteer.
