I would not recommend Mike Derring at all. He did not follow through on the project we hired him for. He took a majority of our money and then just ran. Do not trust him. We are not a couple that has a lot of money laying around and this was a really big hit for us. Disappointed is an understatement.

I am a local home owner. I hired Mike the owner at Beach Side Builders to remodel my home, he was very knowledgable in his field, confident and professional. His company did a very nice job, all his employees were experienced professionals and very polite. I recommend them to anyone in need of any services in the construction field.

I would never recommend this builder. Poor quality work on every aspect of a 30k remodel. 4 week timeline extended to more than 8 months and once he was paid for the final phase he never showed up again. Almost all the work has to be corrected by another contractor. He talks a good game but BEWARE.

The worst customer service experience of any kind in my entire life. What was supposed to be a 3 month job to renovate my bathrooms has now been more than 15 months and it's still not done. What has been done is not of high quality. Mike does not return phone call for respond to messages very often. When he does - there's always another excuse about why the job isn't complete. I strongly recommend that anyone interested in having work done go to a different builder. You will be sorry if you use this company.
