WARNING!!!!! Owner of Mundo Wine & Spirits Collection Group LLC, Ms. Karen Acevedo is writing checks to pay their service providers from bank accounts that have been already closed. This is done intentionally by Karen Acevedo!!!! Mundo Wine hired LTA Logistics to transport a wine load from CA to Miami, FL. LTA Logistics advised Mundo Wine of our prepayment terms. During the transportation of the load and prior to delivery, LTA Logistics continually kept reminding her to deposit the payment for the load and Mundo Wine kept procrastinating the payment. Finally at the last minute, Mundo Wine deposited a check and in good faith LTA Logistics went ahead and authorized the delivery of the load. Forty eight hours later, LTA Logistics received notice from the bank that the check deposited from Mundo Wine was returned since it was written from an account that was already closed. Check# 1002 in the amount of $6,300.00 was returned. LTA Logistics is following proper procedures with the Florida State Attorneys office. Furthermore, charges with the Miami, FL State Attorneys Office will be filed in the upcoming days. This is a criminal offense and the party's responsible will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. If you need proof please contact our office and we will provide all documentation necessary.
