Better check their license before you use them. As of 10/27/15 the license for AP Plumbing in Newport News Va was suspended and for good reason.

We had a terrible experience with them. They were recommended through our warranty co. Not only did they show up 3 hours late w/ out calling but the service workers were cussing at each other while working on the pipes, they then said they couldn't fix the problem and needed to go get another machine. They never returned and never answered their phones for either us or the warranty co. It was the worst service we have ever had and I would strongly encourage you DON"T ever call them!

This was a terrible experience. I scheduled for afternoon and recieved a call in the AM to ask if it was possible to come now. Then in the afternoon when he called 30 min ahead it was more like an hour. He showed up with a snake machine that was not working and spent at least 30min.s working on it. When he was finished snaking he had to manually pull the snake out. Pulled it out across my garage floor getting grease all over it and drug it out to the driveway doing the same. Over flow was fixed but a day later the sleeve at the opening that he snaked started leaking. The plumber had stripped the band at the sleeve that tightens and I had to replace the sleeve. Recommended by my Warranty Company First American Home Buyers. Steer clear of these guys.

This company showed up 2 1/2 hours late for our first appointment. When they came back to put in the new part, it took the plumber 6 1/2 hours to do a 1/2 hour job. They refuse to answer their phones.

Bad experience, adminstrative staff is not good

This company is terrible. Wish I had seen the other reviews before using them. Unfortunately, this is who we were assigned by our warranty company. Staff is unprofessional and never answers their phones. We have been without hot water for a week at this point and still won't have a solution any time soon. Stay far away from these amateurs!

I will not dog AP Plumbing as first thought. Yes thie™r Administration is something to be lacking, but once they got there at least they can recognize problems,. He knew what he was talking about and offered a solution to the problem as well as solutions to potential other problems. I have and have had many other homes and have dealt with multiple contractors before. Only problem with AP is they need to call before arrival and return calls. As a consumer and manager in the customer service industry( which is almost anything these days) CUSTOMERS EXPECT CALLS IF YOUR GOING TO BE LATE. And a Call before you knock on the door is courteous to say your on your way. That all we want nowadays. Anyway they did no™t have to do any work just a diagnostic look. So I a™m giving them a 4 of 5. I called theyre Bluff on coming back at 9pm and they showed up.

DO NOT USE COMPANY!!! As others have stated AP Plumbing LLC is used by home warranty companies so we get stuck using them. Their customer service is by far the worse I have ever had to be a part of. They don not return calls or respond to emails once they have decieded work is complete. They also like to charge extra for things that they don't even do (I have pictures to prove it)., and LIE about work that needs to be done. When i called and spoke to the owner to try to get this resolved he hung up on me. Also if they say they are pulling a permit call the city to make sure they really do...because in my case they never did but they charge you for it. Also show up with proper equipment so they had to reschedule the appointment which my tenant already took off work for. A very unprofessional company, I can't understand how they even are in bussiness, but I guess thats why these warranty companies use people like this because they are cheap and have no other work.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They were sent to my house by American Home Shield (AMS). I assumed that they were reputable because AHS is supposed to do a background check however, I decided to use them when AHS would not cover the service. They over charged my credit card by $155.00 and will not answer my calls or return email. Save yourself time, headache, and money by not using this unscrupulous company!

Ap plumbing is the worst company I have ever done business with. Jason and his staff were unprofessional and lacked the knowledge to make repairs on a simple plumbing project. They were paid to fix my hot tub, that was covered under a home warranty and never completed the job. Beware of these people. They will take your money and run.
