Allison of Allie's Salon is fantastic at listening and perceiving what i want in a haircut ... and that's a rare find for me over the years. i'm quite 'anal' about my hair being cut in a slightly funky, particular way and she can pretty much nail it every time and is always haranguing me (in the sweetest way possible! i love her down-to-earth, grounded, genuine personality) to please please c'mon back in for any adjustments and she'll make time and take an angle up here or 1/8th inch off there ... she does her art well! there's no pretenses in this woman and she's simple a comfortable person who wants a person to feel really good about their hair ... wants hair to be the accessory it soooo is! her prices are incredibly reasonable and i give her grand kudos for this as she is an independent woman trying to maintain her own small business (she took the leap a couple/few years ago) and i SO respect and support a small business woman ... especially those of us in our mid 40's and 50's smart enough and talented enough and willing to take a calculated risk in this economy while hanging in there thru these harder times with a smart, positive attitude and believe in opening their own doors in their lives to enhance the lives and financial situations of their families and themselves. she knows what she's doing ... her skills rolled into a craft that she is great at. sherry bahr madison wi

Allie is fantastic. She's got a warm, friendly, down-to-earth personality... AND she does wonderful hair!! She is extra-good about listening to what you want as a client (and translating not-so-good explanations into a perfect haircut/style/color). She always has good suggestions, and good explanations on why or why not you might want to (or not want to) do something with your hair. Allie's prices are incredibly reasonable, and she can order products for you too. I heartily recommend her!
