After four months as a resident at Casa Vida, I am happy to say that I am very pleased with the care that my father has received there and my own experience in interacting with the staff. Being their first resident, we selected Casa Vida based upon the cleanliness of the home , the professional demeanor of the staff, stated operating philosophy and services offered. From the day my father arrived there, they have continued to deliver up to our expectations. When issues have (rarely) arisen, they have dealt with them promptly and effectively. I especially appreciate their tailored/accommodating approach to caregiving. They are very attentive to his needs, especially regarding his health, while adapting to his desires. During his stay at Casa Vida, my father's quality of life has greatly improved and so has mine, since I no longer have to constantly worry about his well-being.
