Originally I was picked up by a driver who called himself Mike. He spent the entire ride sharing his extreme political views and pestering me with questions about mine. It was very uncomfortable and he was obviously not well informed or educated. I wouldn't have minded as much but he decided that he would rip me off because I didn't completely share his ignorant views. The prices for rides were advertised and I am capable of performing simple math. The ride should have been affordable but Mike demanded almost twice as much because I didn't answer his insane political ramblings the way he wanted. I later got ahold of the owner, Gayle, and explained what had happened. She did not bother to offer a refund of the money I had been robbed of, but was still very courteous and offered me a ride for a set amount. As Nampa has very few taxi services I agreed and thanked her. Then the taxi arrived. And it was that same A******E Mike that was driving. I was extremely uncomfortable but absolutely needed the ride. I WILL SIMPLY NEVER USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN AND RECOMMEND THAT NO ONE ELSE USE IT EITHER. UBER is excellent and far less expensive. And it's doubtful that their drivers are disgusting pig thieves.
