General and laparoscopic surgery Delivering top notch surgical care and making the surgical experience smooth sailing from start to finish is our mission for you and your family. Dr. Ramzy comes from a family tradition of medicine and is a proud Texan having grown up in San Antonio and attended the University of Texas at Austin where he earned his BA degree in biology. Dr. Ramzy subsequently attended UTMB in Galveston where he earned his MD degree.He spent several years at the Shriners Burns Hospital in Galveston where he focused on bettering the lives of severely burned children. After completing his surgical training at the prestigious North Shore LIJ Medical Center in New York, Dr. Ramzy returned to the south and has established his practice in New Braunfels and the surrounding Texas Hill country
