Dr. Ramzy subsequently attended UTMB in Galveston where he earned his MD degree.He spent several years at the Shriners Burns Hospital in Galveston where he focused on bettering the lives of severely burned children. After completing his surgical training at the prestigious North Shore LIJ Medical Center in New York, Dr. Ramzy returned to the south and has established his practice in New Braunfels and the surrounding Texas Hill country
