New York's Number One Independent Video and Music Store Kim's Video and Music is New York's number one independent video and music store. Established in 1987 as a movie rental store by Yongnam Kim with films from the odd to the adored, it now boasts the same DVD selections, sadly minus the rentals which were donated to the town of Salemi in Sicily, Italy. They have since built on their collection to include Vinyl and CD sections, as well as Blu-Rays. Kim's specialize in rare and hard-to-find items, and carry everything from Classic, to Cult and Horror, to Foreign, and the Mainstream, as well as carry Multi-Region DVD and Blu-Ray players which play movies from any part of the world. They now have the largest selection of New and Used DVDs, Cassettes, Blu-Rays, CDs and Vinyls in the city.
