The Sorensen School of Dance was founded in January 1986 by Kim Sorensen and since its inception has strived to provide an inviting atmosphere for students where a strong standard of technical training is encouraged. The Sorensen School of Dance was founded in January 1986 by Kim Sorensen and since its inception has strived to provide an inviting atmosphere for students where a strong standard of technical training is encouraged. The studio offers a variety of classes for both the recreational dancer as well as those wishing to pursue a career in dance. The studio offers classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop and Pointe. Examination classes are available in Modern and Tap with testing through the Imperial Society of Teachers' of Dancing ( ISTD ) and in Ballet with the Cecchetti Society of Canada. The studio boasts a very talented and creative teaching team . Together we are motivated to provide our dancers with the best dance training we can!
