HIRE AT YOUR OWN RISK. I wish I would have done more research before letting this man into our home. He was recommended by a trusted reference. The only reason we went with him was because he said he could complete the project by the holidays--our contract was signed 10/27/21 for reference. He was hired to finish our basement & add a bathroom. He completely lacks imagination--along with integrity & common sense. We had to tell him every little detail that needed to be done. He was going to add a bathroom and not include a mirror or vanity lights? I mean come on, would you do that in your own house? Regardless, we continued to put up with him--he had 2/3rd of our money. As time went on, he started coming by less frequently listing every excuse in the book. Brian quit showing up from January 6th- February 14th. Since we were not able to get a hold of him, we decided to pay him a visit to the address listed in our contract. I wish I could say I was surprised when an elderly woman answered the door and said Brain hadn't lived there since September 2020. With the help of this kind stranger, we were able to get a hold of Brian and he started working again. On May 6th, Brian "finished" the job. There was a handful of things that were not completed but after six and a half months, enough was enough. Two hours after this man left our house our plumbing backed up, flooding the entire basement. After an inspection from a legitimate plumber, it was found that not only did he hook the plumbing up to the wrong stack in our basement but none of it was slopped properly, thus causing the back up. Now, we have to pay another 10k to fix Brian's terrible handy work. Save yourself the headache and literally find any other contractor. I wouldn't trust this man to change out a light bulb.
