BEWARE!! Looks like in 2015 they did the same thing. We are renting from them. First the owner said that he has a Handyman 101 property service, which I haven't found yet. In two months we have given them $5,000 dollars and look they aren't responding. I am copying the previous complaint. Same thing they are doing to us. I have called and emailed several times with no response. We gave a thirty day notice. We are hoping to leave early with a refund of rent. Dang money hungry people. I have emailed three times for the owners to fix the problems. Never returned my email or calls. I am thankful for these sites because it's your right to know. These people only care about money, they haven't the slightest inclination of morality or ethics. I will he following up on the supposed" Handy man 101 Properties". I will update here when I find out.
Update. There is a Handyman 101, Handyman 101 properties is the same person. David is still ignoring my request. He demanded that we go to court.

Stay Way from this contractor, communication stop after the check cashed, although there are few things outstanding...
Left many messages, he never calls back. Few final items left to do. He mentioned comes back when the weather getting better...
Cashed the check and now I still waiting for him.
Will need to mail the intend to file the complaint and mail to him. After that we will file the complaint with CCB.
Florence is a very small town.
This is the email to him on July 22 2015:
The most important issue is the landing, from sliding door out to the deck. There needs to be a step there, as there was before. (see photo attached) Our understanding is that this is required by code. The wood estimate that I had sent you (from another contractor) had the wood for this included.
2. The tenant has told us that 3 boards at the top step flex when stepped on.
3. White painting is not 100% complete on the rail posts.
4. The tenant mentioned something about a white trim piece on the gazebo, at the back of the bench, that should match the other 3 sides.
Could you please address these issues before we come up on August 17? We had sent you the final payment based on an understanding that you would get the work done when weather permitted.
7/27/17: contractor sent someone to take care of the 4 outstanding works.
The landing step is finished. Will report back when everything are taken care...

Handyman 101 just finished my list of construction projects and I was thrilled. They took exactly as long as David estimated and he sent experienced workers who really knew what they were doing and had done it before. For example, they replaced and trimmed a window and had to deal with the window being slightly larger than the opening - well done. They replaced rotten siding and soffits and finished our deck. Very professional and a real value. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.
