Bryan Kinkade graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2010 with Bachelor's of Science degrees in Photography and Advertising. Bryan worked as the photography editor at the university's student newspaper for three semesters and as a photographer for all seven semesters at NAU. Bryan Kinkade graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2010 with Bachelor's of Science degrees in Photography and Advertising. Bryan worked as the photography editor at the university's student newspaper for three semesters and as a photographer for all seven semesters at NAU. Bryan spent most of his childhood in Rapid City, South Dakota. Shortly after graduation, he joined the U.S. Army as a photojournalist. He was stationed at Fort Hood, Texas, for nearly three years where he wrote and photographed for the local Army newspaper, the Fort Hood Sentinel. In 2004, he deployed to Baghdad, Iraq with the 1st Cavalry Division. After his deployment, Bryan received an honorable discharge from the military and moved to Arizona to be closer to his family.
