At Pearly Whites Pediatric Dentistry we envision a practice where every child enjoys optimal oral health. A native of Puerto Rico, Dr Susan Hernandez is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr Hernandez graduated from UPR School of Dental Medicine where she received her DMD degree. She completed advanced training at the Manhattan Campus of the Department of Veterans Affairs NY Harbor Healthcare System. She specialized in Pediatric Dentistry at the Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn. She is a Clinical Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at Lutheran Medical Center where she enjoys teaching residents the behavioral and pharmacological management of children, pediatric dentistry and the relationships to pediatric medicine. Dr Hernandez is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Board Of Pediatric Dentistry.
