May 28th I was on the freeway heading to work, when I received a giant rock into the windshield of my Tahoe. I wasn't even directly behind the truck, I was 50-75 yards back in the lane next to the truck, and no one else even close to us. I had just replaced the windshield the month prior and my windshield was near perfect. I contacted the owner of the company immediately after this happened, sent him pictures of the truck, and the windshield. He said he'd have his wife contact insurance. Then I spoke with him on the phone a little while later maybe 7-9 days (I can get exact days if needed), he seemed great and understanding of the situation (we actually had a great talk) and was happy to help. Then a few weeks went by and I sent a text looking for an update, he said he'd check with his wife again, that was the last I heard from him after multiple calls and texts looking for an update. This morning, July 17th I get a text from his wife Tracy, that my claim has been denied because they were hauling sand, not topsoil like her husband told me, then claimed it to be a autocorrect issue changing from topsoil to sand. Then decided to belittle me in commenting about not knowing the "law" when in fact I do. I tried to be nice, give time for them to come up with the couple hundred dollars to have the window replaced, and now they say it's not their fault and are not going to do anything about it. At this point it's about principle of taking care of your company's problems the correct way, not calling an innocent driver following behind their truck that did not have the bed tarps off. I have all of this in text as well. I would not recommend this company at all knowing this is how they deal with issues.
