Exceptional dry cleaning and laundry service for only $1.99 per garment, prepaid, plus tax Shelton Family Cleaners has a rich history in the dry cleaning business dating back to 1901 when John Shelton Sr. worked in the family business. Through his expansion from Tucson into San Diego, son John Jr. took the business and created discount dry cleaning in 1967 for only .49 cents per garment. The business thrived. John soon opened up several locations in Los Angeles and Orange county, then landed in Houston in 1984 where he brought the concept of single, low price dry cleaning to an eager market at $1.25 per garment. Since then the imitators have popped up everywhere, but beware! They do not offer the same quality and service you can expect at Shelton Family Cleaners. Every garment is inspected to ensure your satisfaction at the low, low price of $1.99 per garment.
