Our goal is for you to enjoy life w/optimal health thru state of the art techniques & equipment to ensure whole health wellness. As one of the best Sioux Falls local chiropractors, Dr. Wesley Heckel has over a decade of expertise helping patients find relief for shoulder, back & neck pain, headaches & migraines, sciatica, spinal stenosis, herniated or bulging discs & inflammatory conditions. Our Sioux Falls Chiropractic Clinic, Live Well Chiropractic & Allergy Relief, specializes in personal injury, whiplash & auto accident injury cases. Dr. Wes has helped hundreds of patients of all ages, even as young as 4 months, find allergy relief by removing allergy sensitivities for everything from food to environmental allergies without drugs or needles using a safe, painless & effective laser technology.
Dr. Wes grew up in Mitchell, South Dakota. He attended MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas where he received his bachelor's degree in biology. Following undergraduate college, he married his high school sweetheart, Sarah Hilton. He then attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri.
Upon graduating from chiropractic college, he joined a practice in his hometown of Mitchell. Two years into practice, he started to feel there were treatment methods that would greatly benefit his patients, but did not fit the style of practice he was in. His wife Sarah was a nurse and also felt the need for a change in her career. After evaluating several options, Sioux Falls felt like the best fit for them and they opened Live Well Chiropractic in late November of 2009.
Dr. Wes now lives in Sioux Falls with his wife, Sarah, and their two boys Caden and Peyton. He enjoys spending time with his family (especially outdoors), fishing, hunting, bike riding, softball, and tennis. He also enjoys participating in church activities. Most importantly, he loves treating his patients, teaching about wellness, and tackling challenging cases.
