I am bery disappointed with Armstrong Steel. I am currently in the process of ordering a building. The PM lacks the ability in following specified direction and requests. Also, the response time is by far completely insatisfactory. The unanswered requests are always responded with, I had to go up the chain of there COO, and my request was denied. Its reasoning was, it would take to much time to acquire a price per item. For a company that has suppossedly had a growth spurt in the last few year, as well an developed inventory pricing system based on the weight of steel, would think a computer could delegate a cost analysis pretty easy. I would refrain from using there services, as it appears they PM knowledge base of buildings has limited knowledge base in the construction field, do not obtain cost effective solutions but are pushing for inflated additions on change orders for increased profit margins. I understand the goal of making a profit but when your lack of customer driven desires are secluded over the dollar amount, makes it very frustrating when trying to manage a budget on a steel building.
