Minick Photography - Commercial, corporate, marketing and public relations photography and video. Spring of 2015 Minick Photography officially celebrates its 9th birthday while looking forward to closing in on that decade milestone in business. With that comes 25 years of editorial and commercial photography. I still love what I do… oh and I’m also super fun to work with! My career in corporate, commercial and news photography has spanned more than 24 years, as I have covered and captured historic and community events throughout the area. Early in my career, I was a freelancer, staffer, and then chief photographer at a daily paper in Lewistown, Pa. I later accepted the position of chief photographer at The Sentinel in Carlisle, Pa. I have covered a multitude of news events, including visits from Presidents, candidates and dignitaries. My true love, however, was for “community journalism,” which allowed me to capture everyday life on a daily basis. That work has earned numerous state and regional photography awards throughout my career. In 2001, I spent 10 days traveling across war-torn Bosnia, documenting an American relief group’s efforts to help the Bosnian children cope with the aftermath of war. My work has been showcased in newspapers, magazines, and media outlets around the world. I took that passion and style and created my own commercial photography business in 2006. My clients call on me for my photojournalistic style to capture candid moments while also making subjects comfortable during those times when more stylized, creative images are sought. As trends change in marketing and advertising, Minick Photography has also evolved to capture the multi-media needs of clients. We offer video services to our clients. The goal continues to be capturing compelling and storytelling images, maintaining a streamline workflow, building a collaborative team environment and forming long-term partnerships with clients. Some of those clients include: Philadelphia University, Harrisburg University, Gettysburg College, PPO&S, Milton Hershey School, Hershey Foundation, The Associated Press, Holy Spirit Hospital, TCG Advertising and Design, Carlisle Area Regional Medical Center, Crump, Education Policy Leadership Center, Pavone, Highmark and others.
