Beware and stay away from Poseidon Underground Irrigation Systems by all means! This company and its owner Mr. Keith Campanella are dangerous to deal with as they may cause thousands of dollars of damages with zero responsibility and customer harassment on top of it. First, they are badly incompetent and do not know what they are doing. Their negligence caused us $6,500 of damages and repairs + lost time and peace + son’s bedroom being unusable for 3 months. Their worker’s lack of simple common sense and straight thinking caused them to work for 3.5h, ruin our lawn, and then admit they can’t do the job. They did however charged us $200 for this useless work without blinking an eye. Second, there is no customer service. It was impossible to get hold of the owner for weeks until I found his cell phone online; missed appointments and lost days off work; not returned calls; rude talk and chat replies. Third, the owner Mr. Keith Campanella who makes all decisions is absolutely unwilling to take any responsibility for company’s mistakes and damages caused. Mistakes could happen but it’s all about how we deal with them. In case of Poseidon the approach is to deny everything, run away, and then intimidate the customer with fabricated bills. “Attack is the best defense” is their motto. That’s what they did to us. They completely and rudely refused to reimburse for damages. When I filed a complaint with BBB instead of working with us on resolution Mr. Campanella sent me an invoice for $323 for work that was never done with envelope postmarked 2 months past the invoice date but 2 days after BBB contacted them! Invoice was marked past due. The harassment stopped right away though when I indicated this would go to NYS Office of Attorney General's Economic Justice Division. This is absolutely the worst company and the owner I ever dealt with! Stay away! If Mr. Campanella replies here don’t trust him. I do have witnesses, documents, and chat screenshots proving all my statements. BBB complaint stays unresolved. Mr. Campanella’s response to it was nothing but an attempt to smear me and my wife. The company claims on their website to have 75y of experience but being established in 1985. Their FB page lists founding date 1980. By googling you may find it’s established 2010 or 1980. Very fishy. I know they bought Lawn Ranger (which serviced me before) just 5y ago. Mr. Campanella has a previous record of harassing his customers he caused damages to. I wish I knew it before so could find another company when they got my account from Lawn Ranger.
